Singer Susan Boyle is "much happier" after leaving the Priory rehabilitation clinic, her brother has confirmed.
The Britain's Got Talent star was admitted to the London clinic last week suffering from exhaustion as the stress of being propelled to fame on the ITV1 show appeared to take its toll.
Her brother Gerry confirmed the 48-year-old had experienced an 'anxiety attack' after finishing second to dance troupe Diversity.
Concern had been expressed over Boyle's ability to embark on the Britain's Got Talent live tour, which begins next Friday, but her brother told GMTV his sister's wellbeing has improved.
"She's much happier, she seems a lot more like herself," he explained and confirmed she was now staying in a London flat with him.
Mr Boyle said his church volunteer sibling had spoken to people who had assured her finishing second on Britain's Got Talent "wasn't the end" for her singing career.
"Things are becoming clearer for her now," he added. "She's now beginning to believe that 'yes indeed, I will be a singer'."
Susan Boyle became a worldwide star after an online video of her first Britain's Got Talent video was watched by an estimated 100 million people.
The speed with which she found fame appeared to affect the aspiring singer, who was said to have sworn at journalists in an incident in a London hotel and reportedly threw a glass of water over a member of the Britain's Got Talent staff who had tried to calm her after she finished second in the live final.
However, it is believed she could make up to £10 million this year should she release an album, thanks to her popularity in the US.
