Eighties singer Sinitta has become the first celebrity to be voted off the new series of Dancing on Ice.
The So Macho singer made a damaging mistake while fighting to save her place in the competition during the skate-off, causing a cut in her partner Andrei Lipanov's trousers after a lift was poorly executed.
"I had such high hopes for this, I was starting to love it - I can hardly speak," said the 41-year-old after her exit.
The first live show of the ITV1 series saw all seven female contestants take to the ice, with Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon amassing the highest score, as the judging panel awarded her 19.5 points out of a possible 30.
Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack had the lowest score, with just 11 points, but it was Sinitta and former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies who found themselves in the bottom two following the public vote.
A tearful Sinitta said she was "gutted" that her mistake in the skate-off had cost her a spot on the show.
