The MacDonald Brothers have been voted off ITV1's talent show X-Factor.
A public favourite throughout the competition and with most of Scotland behind them, the brothers sang the Barry Manilow hit Can't Smile Without You and Shang a Lang by the Bay City Rollers, but to no avail.
Even harsh judge Simon Cowell admitted defeat, saying: "I surrender. This isn't about singing any more."
However, Saturday's show saw the judges give up their mighty powers, meaning the public votes were more important than ever before but it was not to be for the brothers.
Leaving only Ben, Leona and Ray in the competition, Craig, 20, and Brian, 19, may not have to return to their previous jobs as wedding singers as their mentor Louis Walsh promised this wouldn't be the last we would see of them, which is just what he said to boy band Eton Road who were evicted last week.
With the live final only two weeks away, the young diva Leona is seen to be the favourite to win the contest.
This week's results means that, much to Simon's delight, Louis has no more acts in the competition while he has Leona and swing singer Ray and Sharon Osbourne mentors the lovable Ben.
