Police are again investigating Celebrity Big Brother after being handed some "new information" about the reality TV show.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman confirmed that the force will be "looking into" the fresh evidence but declined to comment on what exactly that evidence was.
According to the Sun, the investigation relates to a note that was written on the back of a production running order on Big Brother's Little Brother, an analysis show that ran in parallel to the Channel 4 series.
The newspaper printed what it says is the note this morning, which suggests that "some dodgy clips do exist", relating to allegations that contestants racially abused Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
It goes on to claim that footage of an allegedly racist song being sung was recorded during the show.
Shetty, who was proclaimed the series winner last Sunday, was the focus of an international row after clips were shown of fellow contestants Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara apparently verbally bullying her.
Opinion was split as to whether the alleged bullying constituted racism, but the latest note could reignite the debate.
Channel 4 says it has no evidence of the reported racial slur being used and a spokeswoman said they have not been contacted by police or seen the note said to have been handed to detectives.
