Natasha Giggs has been given a red card and sent packing from the Big Brother house after losing the public vote to rival Nicola McLean.

Ryan Giggs' estranged sister-in-law becomes the second person to leave the competition, following Andrew Stone out of the door.

Natasha was greeted by a booing crowd on her departure and told host Brian Dowling that it did not bother her.

"I have 100 per cent been myself and if people don't like it, then that is me. I've had an absolute ball. I didn't think I would," she said.

The celebrity, who is known for cheating on her husband Rhodri with his brother Ryan, a star for Manchester United, said that she was surprised that she struck up a friendship with Nicola after the pair clashed on Twitter before moving into the house.

"She really is a great girl. I was obviously was a bit nervous 'cos we had a bit of a thing before going in the house... It wasn't a fight. It wasn't an argument. She came up to me and straightened it out and I was so grateful," she added.

Natasha has now tipped Welsh rugby legend Gareth Thomas to go on and win the contest.
