Melinda Messenger has claimed taking part in the reality show Dancing on Ice has saved her marriage.
The celebrity skater told the Sun newspaper she and her husband Wayne were also now planning on renewing their vows.
The pair split up last year after nine years of marriage but the former glamour model believes her stint on Dancing on Ice has brought the couple closer together.
"This has been the most brilliant thing for all of us, its made us massively closer," she told the newspaper.
"Last year was hard for all of us. So it's nice to be immersed in something that is really fun and exciting and difficult. My head can't go anywhere else - I have to be completely focused on the skating."
"It's a welcome relief from the distresses of last year and it helps us put everything else aside."
And Melinda admitted during the interview with the Sun the pair were now talking of renewing their wedding vows.
"We got married in Bali with 30 people with us, but now we think it might be nice to do something that's a big celebration and get everyone together," she added.
The pair have three children together Morgan, eight, Flynn, six, and Evie, five.
