Claims that ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona sent threatening emails to a former friend are being investigated by police.
Michelle Hunter told the News of the World that she had contacted police after Katona said she would 'torch' her car with her inside.
The pair reportedly fell out when pregnant Michelle revealed that the 26-year-old had fallen into bad habits with drugs and alcohol after her marriage to Brian McFadden broke down.
And according to the tabloid last week Katona sent the following email: "Your car will be torched yes torched with u in it yes. ur not even worth me lifting my finger to write this message; bye ur boring me."
Katona's publicist Max Clifford has denied that his client ever threatened Michelle.
Cheshire police have confirmed they are investigating the claims made against the I'm a Celebrity. Get Me out of Here winner.
"Kerry knows I'm pregnant and I could lose my baby because of this. It's like she's gone completely mad. I'm petrified - it's like I'm being stalked," said Michelle.
