Despite claiming to have left I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out of Here! to be reunited with her children, Katie Price has signed up for a new ITV2 series.
The glamour model quit the ITV1 reality show after public voting subjected her to several gruelling Bushtucker Trials in the Australian jungle.
The 31-year-old had posted a Twitter update claiming to be excited about returning to the UK to see her three children but will nonetheless make another series for ITV2 while travelling back to Britain.
TThe digital channel has commissioned a second new series of What Katie Did Next, it was announced today, which will follow Price immediately after leaving the I'm A Celebrity jungle and her turn to the UK.
According to an ITV2 statement, the shows "will see her continuing her life as a model, mother and businesswoman as she heads home from Australia".
The series is to consist of eight episodes and will be broadcast on ITV2 early in 2010.
Price, also known as Jordan, added: "Viewers have seen what I went through in the jungle, and now they'll get to find out exactly what happens next. As ever, there's bound to be lots of drama!"
Her apparent glee at the new television series seems to contradict her apparent desire to be free of television commitments after leaving the I'm A Celebrity... camp.
On Wednesday night she had written on Twitter: "at last i got out my contract im coming home to my children soooo excited."
But less than a day later ITV's director of digital channels and acquisitions Zai Bennett confirmed Price's decision to continue to "share every facet of her amazing life" with TV audiences.
