Television presenter Graham Norton has agreed a new two-year contract with the BBC, it has been announced.
Though the Irish host, who currently presents his own chatshow on BBC1, is believed to have accepted a pay cut, his contract is still thought to be worth around £4 million.
A BBC spokeswoman described 46-year-old Norton as a hugely talented and valued presenter" after his new deal was announced.
"We are delighted to be signing a new two-year deal with Graham Norton," she added.
"We are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with him."
Norton will host the Bafta television awards and replaced Sir Terry Wogan as the presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest last year.
The actor and comedian is one of several BBC stars to have agreed a salary cut, with Chris Moyles, Alan Davies and Bruce Forsyth all the victims of cutbacks by the broadcaster.
Jonathan Ross' current three-year deal expires in July and reports claim the Film 2009 presenter has offered to take a 50 per cent pay cut.
