The judges on last night's X Factor were given a surprise when a contestant they had unanimously deemed good enough to make it to the next round told them she was only 14.
Paris Graham-Jones, who wants to be an opera singer, had wowed Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne with her performance of Sarah Brightman's Time to Say Goodbye, describing her voice as a "breath of fresh air".
But after being give the thumbs up from all three, the Liverpool girl admitted to being below the competition's age limit.
Understandably shocked, the judges encouraged Paris to come back in two years time, with Louis telling her "you're even better than we thought".
The 14-year-old Royal Northern College of Music student had lied to producers by telling them she was two years older as she had wanted "Simon to hear my voice", but pledged to return.
