Sir Elton John has called for a truce over his long-running feud with George Michael.
The singing superstar, 59, refused to snap back at George after his one-time best friend spoke badly of him on chat show Parkinson.
While recording the interview for BBC One, 42-year-old George told Parky: "Elton's turned my life into a soap opera."
The pop star said he blamed Elton for all his recent troubles, including an 'out-of-control' cannabis habit and mystery car pile-ups.
The celebrity pair, who used to be the best of friends, first fell out two years ago when Elton said that George was "wasting his talent" and "should get out more".
Elton's spokesman said he was not going to make any comment about George's recent dig, but a close pal said that his silence spoke volumes.
"As far as Elton's concerned he is George's friend and there are no issues between them," the pal told the Daily Star Sunday.
"They had dinner together nine months ago and get on fine with each other. There's nothing wrong with their friendship."
But there is growing concern over George's strange behaviour. Last week, the pop star crashed his £60,000 Range Rover into three parked cars in north London and dismissed it as a 'parking accident'.
He was also recently found slumped in his car at night on a busy London road, and was arrested for possessing cannabis.
