Ellery Hanley has been voted off ITV1's Dancing on Ice after a costly slip in the skate-off with Melinda Messenger.
Nicky Slater was the only judge from the five-strong panel to vote for the former rugby star, as Melinda survived to skate another day.
Hanley, 47, landed on his backside during a suspect interpretation of Come on Aileen; part of the show's 80s theme on the 25th anniversary of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's Olympic gold-winning Bolero performance.
"Congratulations to Mel," Ellery said. "She really had an amazing skate tonight.
"And it's been really joyful to work with Jane and Chris, they're lovely people. I also have to thank [skate partner] Frankie [Poulteney] who'll be my friend forever."
Seven celebrities remain on the show, with singer Ray Quinn the favourite to emerge victorious.
