Noel Edmonds has reportedly become the highest paid TV show host in the entertainment industry after agreeing terms on a bumper new contract with Channel 4.
Edmonds has been out of the spotlight for the best part of the past six years but has recently returned to present daytime gameshow Deal or No Deal.
And such has been his impact on viewing figures, that bosses at Channel 4 have been desperate to sign him up on a longer term deal.
Reports claim Edmonds has been offered an 18-month contract worth in the region of £3 million, making him one of the most well-paid figures on the box.
The TV personality will continue fronting the show six times a week and Channel 4 bosses will be hoping he can continue to inspire audiences above the four million mark.
Adam MacDonald, Channel 4's head of daytime TV, recently described Edmonds as "the consummate TV talent".
