David Tennant and June Whitfield are among the actors nominated for the first BBC Audio Drama Awards.
The Dr Who star, who is also set to host the award ceremony in London on 29th January, has been put forward for his role in Murray Gold's Kafka: The Musical.
Whitfield has been given the nod for her role in Andy Merriman's A Monstrous Vitality.
Other nominees include Tim Fountain's Made In Manchester, which is up for the best online only audio drama, and Wild Hackney for the Hackney Podcast.
Terrance Rattigan's Flare Path, which was broadcast on Radio 3, gained two nominations - Rory Kinnear in the best actor category and Rupert Penry-Jones for best supporting actor.
Judges of the awards include newspaper theatre critics Michael Billington and Susannah Clapp, screenwriter Andrew Davies, actresses Maxine Peake and Imogen Stubbs and the chief executive of the Royal Opera House, Lord Hall.
Tennant recently voiced a radio version of Ian Fleming's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
