Christina Applegate is clear of breast cancer following treatment, she has confirmed.
It was revealed earlier this month that the actress was suffering from an early form of the disease.
But thanks to the cancer being discovered after a doctor-ordered MRI, the 36-year-old has had a double masectomy and is expected to make a full recovery.
"I'm clear," the comedic star told Good Morning America. "Absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean.
"They got everything out so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
Applegate, who made her name on Fox's breakthrough show Married... with Children as blonde teenager Kelly Bundy, had already agreed to star in a cancer benefit on several US networks in September before her condition was revealed.
Speaking of her diagnosis, she revealed: "I was so mad and I I just remember I was I was just shaking.
"And then also immediately, I had to go into... 'take-care-of-business-mode,' which was... I asked them, 'What do I do now? What what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?'"
She continued: "After looking at all the treatment plans that were possibilities for me, the only one that seemed the most logical and the one that was going to work for me was to have a bilateral mastectomy."
The actress is to have reconstructive surgery over the next eight months and joked: "I'm going to have the best boobs in the nursing home.
"I'm going to be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table!"
She is currently starring in ABC's amnesia comedy Samantha Who? following co-star and guest appearances in Will Ferrell's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and sitcom Friends.
