Despite numerous rumours which claim that Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline is on the rocks, a magazine victory by the couple suggests otherwise.
The British and Irish editions of the stars' most hated gossip mag, the National Enquirer, were forced to print an apology after claiming that the pair were to divorce under the not-so-subtle headlines Britney Marriage is Over! and Britney and Kevin: And Now Their Divorce!
"We now accept that their marriage is not over and they are not getting divorced," the statement read.
"These allegations are untrue and we now accept Britney's position that the statements are without foundation. We apologise for any distress caused."
The couple are said to be planning an intimate ceremony on a beach in Maui to renew their wedding vows next month.
And just in case people still have any doubts about their marriage, the couple are to inflict their white trash tracksuit-wearing lifestyle on television audiences in a second series of Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.
"I know that things are fine, but this show will put paid to those rumours finally," Britney said.
