Actress Billie Piper has delivered her first child - a boy named Winston - by emergency caesarean.
The former Doctor Who star, 26, gave birth at the private Portland hospital in London, having only been in labour for 26 minutes, her husband Laurence Fox revealed.
"The emergency caesarean only took about 20 minutes," he told reporters.
"Billie is happy. Of course she is, she's a mum. I am tired but not as tired as her - I am a proud father."
Fox, who married Piper on New Year's Eve, described his newborn son as "beautiful" and "sweet".
And when Piper would be out of hospital, 29-year-old Fox replied: "Well, she has been cut apart, so probably overnight. I will be with her for the length of it."
Winston James Fox was born at 01:00 BST on Tuesday and weight 6lb 11oz.
The birth was first revealed by Piper's ex-husband Chris Evans, to whom she was married for six years.
The Radio 2 DJ, who is also soon to be a father with his new wife Natasha Shishmanian, said: "Mum [Piper] is very happy and I am really pleased. There are some tears of joy up there."
And writing in his blog he added: "At the time of this writing, the little fella is not even 15 hours old.
"He is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago."
