Day 11 in the Celebrity Big Brother house saw tensions escalate into outright culinary conflict as the younger house members seized control of the kitchen.

Prior to yesterday's events Vinnie Jones and Stephanie Beecham had taken it upon themselves to fulfil all kitchen responsibilities.

But with only basic rations available Vinnie had been asked to organise a timetable of meals that would allow for the food to be evenly distributed among the group until more supplies came in on Sunday.

Unfortunately, and somewhat understandably, this plan failed to take into account Lady Sovereign's spontaneous craving for corned beef in a tin.

And so things started to unravel as Sov chomped her way into a more-than-fully-packed corned beef sandwich and Vinnie threw a somewhat petulant, yet incredibly hard, hissy-fit in the snug.

Lashing out at Dane Bowers and Nicola T for going against his wishes in allowing Sov to eat the corned beef, he told them: "You two and Sov do the dinners, that's fair - you think there's enough, so you do it."

Although Vinnie and Steph have washed their hands of the kitchen, Katia decided against doing the same to the rapidly-piling up dishes in the sink.

Among other goings on in the house: Stephen Baldwin was unimpressed when Nicola started spelling out rude words in a ball game he had introduced; Heidi Fleiss thinks Vinnie is 'hot'; and Jonas and Katia are back to being best mates after a nice, friendly chat.

And big steps for Alex Reid as Vinnie revealed to him "if you offered me $5 million to be in a movie with you I would say 'no'". The cage fighter was being urged to search for the real Alex Reid, to decide what he wants to be, and by nightfall he was hand-in-hand with Steven repeating the prayer of salvation.
