Freddie George Fisher and Sophia Brown are the first Big Brother 10 housemates up for eviction after contestants nominated their choices to leave the house.

Freddie, or Halfwit as he has been known in the house after a name-changing task, and Sophia each received six nominations and will face the public vote on Friday June 12th.

Sree Dasari was nominated four times, with Marcus Akin and Charlie Drummond each receiving three nominations but the choice for the first eviction from the tenth series of Big Brother will be between entrepreneur Halfwit and private banking assistant Sophia.

Halfwit (Freddie), 23, was nominated for eviction by Karly Ashworth for being "overbearing" while Lisa Wallace complained she felt "aggravated" by him and Noirin Kelly added: "I can't stand the way he talks. It really irritates me and it kind of creeps me out."

Sophia, however, for harsher criticism from her fellow housemates, with Charlie accusing her of creating a "horrible atmosphere" when arguing with Saffia Drummond.

Kris Donnelly also nominated Sophia and remarked: "There was a little bit of a kick-off in the week when she had a go at Saff about putting herself forward for doing a task to make it into the normal house and I just thought it was absolute rubbish that she said she wouldn't have put herself forward to do it."

He added: "I think that's rubbish. I think she was lying when she said that."

Saffia also unsurprisingly picked 26-year-old Sophia for eviction while Sree attacked the diminutive housemate for being "argumentative".

Kris, Angel McKenzie and Rodrigo Lopes received no nominations from their fellow housemates in the first round of the series.

Voting lines are now open and will close during the live Channel 4 show on Friday June 12th (21:00 to 22:00 BST).
