Former Big Brother 9 housemate Rebecca Shiner has admitted she has real feelings for fellow contestant Luke Marsden.

The nursery nurse, 21, was evicted on Friday night after taking 65 per cent of the vote, leaving fellow nominees Darnell Swallow and Mohamed Mohamed in the house.

And speaking in her first interview since leaving the Channel 4 reality show, Rebecca revealed the extent of her relationship with Luke, which grew increasingly fevered during their time in the house together.

Luke, 21, has become one of the favourites to win the ninth series of the reality show with his burgeoning friendship with Rebecca attracting viewers.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, newly-evicted Rebecca said: "He's not a virgin - and he's more than just a good friend."

"We spent loads of time together.

"I really care for him, although I was being sarcastic when I said I loved him."

But Gina Bannister, Luke's girlfriend prior to entering the house, has reportedly dumped the student after seeing Luke and Rebecca grow increasingly close in the house

Asked about Luke's ex-girlfriend, Rebecca replied: "I didn't know he and his girlfriend were serious. I didn't think they were. I'd be bothered if they were serious."

"I didn't really fancy him at first but we got closer and closer," she added. "I'd rate him nine out of ten for kissing.

"If I'd stayed in the house, I think we'd just have carried on getting even closer.

"Obviously I want to have sex, but not in the house. Out of the house with Luke? No comment."
