Posh Spice wannabe Chanelle has finally made up her mind and decided to leave the Big Brother house.

Last night the 19-year-old threatened to leave, bidding a tearful farewell to the other contestants and packing her bags.

But no sooner had she left the house she was told she must speak to the show's psychologists. In best yo-yo fashion she then made a retreat back into the house and was sleeping on her decision.

After about half an hour in the diary room today though she has come to the perhaps-inevitable conclusion that life in the house is not all it's cracked up to be and has not returned.

Her fellow housemates were left mystified and Sam tried banging on the diary room door in a forlorn effort to find out what was going on.

When the realisation dawned on her she burst into tears and was comforted by Carole.

Although the housemates spent the last few days trying to convince Chanelle to stay, no doubt the thought of living in a house with an ex who has played the "It's not you, it's me" card might be too much for her.

The ex in question, the floppy-haired, ex-boyband member Ziggy, appears to be feeling slightly more light-hearted today, enjoying the sunshine in the garden with the upbeat twins Amanda and Sam.

The 26-year-old joined in with Liam to playfight and dance with the girls and even went as far as to put his boyband skills to use and came up with a little song and dance with Sam.

Looks like breaking up with Chanelle has lifted a lot off Ziggy's mind – shame the same can't be said for her.
