Big Brother 9 contestant Alexandra De-Gale has been warned that her "bullying" could have "serious consequences".

The 23-year-old had criticised Rebecca Shiner after the nursery nurse burnt chips while preparing dinner and accused her of volunteering to cook the meal to curry favour with other housemates.

And when fellow contestant Rachel Rice stood up for Rebecca, Alexandra rounded on her as well as calling Stephanie McMichael "simple".

Alexandra, from Croydon, south London, was later called to the diary room and warned that action could be taken if contestants felt "threatened or intimidated" or if "inappropriate, offensive or intimidating behaviour" upset viewers.

An accounts executive, Alexandra has already been earmarked by bookmakers Ladbrokes as the least likely contestant to win the ninth series of the Channel 4 reality show.

After burning the chips, Rebecca had said: "I'm happy to step out, but I didn't want to like, not do anything and then have people saying, 'Ooh, you haven't been helping'," only for Alexandra to reply: "Who cares what people are gonna say?"

And when Rachel attempted to stick up for her fellow housemate, Alexandra turned on her, shouting: "Getting up and trying to play the martyr, trying to defend anyone, you might as well just sit back babes. That kind of s***'s not gonna wash round me."

Alexandra is, however, guaranteed to spend at least one more week in the house, with Mario Marconi, Stephanie McMichael, Lisa Appleton and Luke Marsden up for eviction this Friday after failing a secret task.
