One-time Big Brother winner Jade Goody is recovering in hospital today after collapsing during yesterday's London Marathon.
The reality TV celebrity, who is still for some reason the source of much tabloid attention, was taken to hospital after giving up in the 18th mile of the charity run, the previous 11 of which she had walked.
Having admitted to being overweight and to having not prepared properly, it was little surprise to see the chubby 24-year-old fail to complete the marathon.
As she quit, she wailed to paramedics: "I'm dying, I'm dying", while onlookers told reporters she had gone blue in the face through exhaustion.
Before the start, Jade had vowed to complete the race and get a medal but had also admitted to having "got bored" during training for the event.
She also revealed she missed eating chocolate and crisps, among other treats.
"I've been eating curry and Chinese and drinking," she added. "It's my own fault I hadn't prepared enough. I had only done four proper training sessions. I'm gutted I didn't get my medal. I wanted to finish but it was too much." Bless.
