Imogen Thomas, one of the contestants of this year's Big Brother, has come one step closer to achieving her dream of landing a job on television.
The former Miss Wales often spoke of her love for her country and often proudly showed off her ability to speak Welsh on the show with fellow countryman Glyn.
And now she has landed a cameo on Welsh soap, Pobol y Cwm. It may not be Hollyoaks or even the giddy heights of Emmerdale just yet, but hey, it's a start.
The 23-year-old, who admits that she "would love to get into acting" and that presenting and TV work is something she wants to do, will play herself as she opens a new garage on the show.
Speaking of her delight at being offered the role, she said: "It's great to be asked to appear on Pobol y Cwm. My family watch it and I used to watch it when I was living at home.
She added: "I felt a bit nervous especially as there were so many people around, but the producers and other actors made me feel at home and talked me through the process and I'm really excited about it.
"I've got some lines to say and they've even included the 'Hot Topic' and a few 'babes' as part of the script."
