Confusion reigns in the Celebrity Big Brother house after some of the housemates stumbled across an apparent language barrier.
Well-spoken Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty has struggled at times to understand the broad tones of cockney trio Jo O'Meara, Jade Goody and Jack Tweed.
But the actress really got her head in a spin when ex-S-Club 7 singer Jo pondered what she would ask Big Brother as part of today's task.
"I've got my question: what is the lifespan of a sperm whale?"
An understandable query, if a little off tangent, but for Shilpa it was too much.
She spluttered: "A spom wow? What's that?"
Clearly not even entertaining the idea that Shilpa could not understand what they were saying, Jack and Jade then tried to explain what a whale actually was.
"Have you seen Free Willy? In the sea," he chimed.
It seemed to do the trick however, with Shilpa eventually exclaiming: "Oh a whale!", before exploding into a fit of laughter to the bemusement of her housemates.
