Fans of Amy Winehouse have been urged to stop buying her records by the controversial singer's in-laws.
Award-winning Winehouse has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons of late after a number of no-shows at planned gigs and an admission to hospital after a reported drug overdose.
And today the parents of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have spoken out, saying they believe that the pair are both drug addicts.
Giles Civil also asked the singer's fans to take a stand and refuse to buy any of Winehouse's records and urged award judges not to vote for her.
"I believe the record company has a responsibility to cease Amy's contract and make the pair enter a proper rehabilitation unit where they can't leave until they sort themselves out," Mr Civil told BBC Radio Five Live.
"Perhaps its time to stop buying her records, to send that message. That affects the record company and then they may take notice."
He added that he and his wife Georgette "believe strongly" that Winehouse, who has been nominated for a Mercury Music Prize, should not be given any awards.
"We should not be condoning her addiction by rewarding her with awards," he said.
Speaking on the same Victoria Derbyshire show, Winehouse's father Mitch Winehouse dismissed the suggestion.
"The only way out is for them to reach rock bottom, which I hope they already have, and then they will realise they don't want to do this any more, and they have people who love them," he said.
The latest comments come as the couple spend time on holiday in an apparent attempt to get away from the glare of publicity focused upon them.
Last week police were called to Sanderson hotel in London after Winehouse was photographed covered in bruises and wearing bloodstained clothing after an apparent row with her husband.
No-one has been charged over the incident.
