Keith Urban has said that his three-month stint in a rehab centre has left him feeling "much better".
The country singer checked himself into the centre in October last year following problems with alcoholism but he has now left and is embarking on postponed promotional engagements for his latest album.
People magazine reports that during a backstage interview with German TV show Wetten, Dass? (Wanna Bet?) Urban said that he was "very good".
"I'm feeling much better," he said. "And thank you to everybody out there - I got a lot of support from everybody in the last three months, lots of e-mails and cards and letters. It meant a lot to me."
Urban also told the interviewer that one of the songs he would perform, Once In a Lifetime, is about his relationship with new wife Nicole Kidman.
"[It's] inspired by my marriage - it's a good, life-changing happening in my life," he said.
"I think when you find your once-in-a-lifetime love, that's what everybody's looking for."
Kidman and Urban married last year in the actress' native Sydney on June 25th last year.
