Tinie Tempah appears on course to spend a third week at the top of the UK singles chart with his debut single Pass Out.
The track is currently leading the field in the midweek chart, according to the Official Charts Company.
The south London MC is coming under pressure from a trio of American female artists, however, with Telephone by Lady Gaga and Beyonce gaining on the current number one.
Rihanna's Rude Boy is also in the hunt for the top spot, only marginally behind in third place.
In the album chart the second official soundtrack from the US hit TV show Glee is on course to be named number one on Sunday.
Glee: The Music Vol 2 is said to be well ahead of last week's number one Brother by Boyzone.
Those two albums currently lead the field, with Sugababes' Sweet 7 album a new entry at number 11.
