Take That have say there is a slot available on the band's roster for Robbie Williams should he reverse his decision not to rejoin the reformed group.
The foursome told Jonathan Ross that the "door's always open" for the 33-year-old, who rejected a chance to get back together with his old bandmates to tour and record new material.
Robbie's decision has hardly been vindicated since, with singles Patience and Shine going straight to number one and a world tour planned to showcase their top-selling album Beautiful World.
"We all know he's got a good heart, we still love him, but we'd have to spend time with him, see what his personality's like now," Howard Donald says on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, due to be broadcast on BBC1 tonight.
"Out of all of us I was the most hopeful," adds Jason Orange.
And Gary Barlow admitted that the band's newfound success had been "unbelievable".
"There's not a night goes by when we think are we still here," he said.
"It was our whole life last time," Gary continued, "but we have other lives now. There's no question we've got all the control, it's nice to be in control of your own destiny. We're all respectful of each other, before we do anything it's a big decision."
Appearing alongside Take That on tonight's show are Sir Terry Wogan, England ladies' footballer Kelly Smith and comedian Peter Serafinowicz.
