There's no room at the Take That inn for ex-band member Robbie Williams, it appears.
Gary Barlow and Mark Owen appear to have ruled out the Angels star from joining them in their new manband incarnation.
In an interview with the Big Issue magazine, Barlow says there is "no place" for Williams in Take That.
"When it comes down to it, he's just not going to be in the band again. I just don't think there's a place for him now here," he said.
The band had previously made clear the door was always open for Williams, who was by far the most successful solo artist of the original five-man line-up.
But in a striking reversal of fortunes Williams' stellar career has seen his star falling of late, with latest album Rudebox panned by critics and enjoying only moderate chart success.
By contrast Take That's comeback album Beautiful World has sold over 1.3 million copies to widespread excitement. Now the tables are turned and it's Take That who are the ones doing the scorning.
Cleverly, they're letting Williams' attitude do all the talking.
Mark Owen said: "We asked him when we reformed but he had commitments - he had to walk his dog that day."
