A full Take That reunion looks more likely than ever after Robbie Williams performed on the same stage as his former bandmates.
Though Williams did not sing with the Patience group, both acts were on stage for a grand finale singalong of the Beatles' Hey Jude at a Children in Need concert organised by Gary Barlow.
Other acts to perform at the Royal Albert Hall show, which raised more than £500,000 for the children's charity, included Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey and Leona Lewis.
After Take That opened the show with Greatest Day, Barlow told the 4,500-strong audience: "What a perfect night for us to introduce an old friend."
Williams performed his recent single Bodies and upcoming release You Know Me and later took to the stage with his former bandmates and the other artists on the bill for a climactic rendition of Hey Jude.
Speaking after the concert, Williams admitted: "I started tearing up just before I came on, and the lads were singing and knowing it was just about to happen and knowing what the reactions were going to be like, and then all my team were like 'Please don't cry'."
He went on: "And I think we should have milked it for a lot longer than we actually did. I think Gaz, in his wisdom, went, 'Right, we should get off now, let the lad do his singing.'
"I was trying to get them back to do a bow and everything. That's the first time in 15 years, we should have at least stayed there for ten minutes."
Asked if a full Take That reunion was a possibility, 35-year-old Williams said current plans were "shaping up to be very exciting" but stressed he did not know when he would perform with the Said It All band again.
"I just hope people don't get bored of the idea before it actually happens," he added.
Other collaborations at the charity concert included Noisettes' Shingai Shoniwa singing Dirty Cash (Money Talks) with Dizzee Rascal, Lily Allen joining Take That on Shine and Cheryl Cole singing the female vocal on Snow Patrol's Set the Fire to the Third Bar.
