Paris Hilton has decided that the world is not quite ready for her musical talents at least not until she's put the finishing touches to her debut effort at any rate.
The American heiress was all set to launch an album on the unsuspecting public, but has decided to put it on the backburner while she gets to work on murdering a cover of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy.
Paris and the download pop star are on the same record label, and the socialite wants to add a version of the song to her self-titled album.
The record also includes covers of Rod Stewart's Do Ya Think I'm Sexy and Blondie's Heart Of Glass, but it now looks as though we'll all have to hold our breath until September before we get the chance to hear it.
"It's just Paris' latest idea and because she shares a label with Gnarls, she thinks that it will all be a piece of cake," a source told the Daily Star.
"The chances of it happening are minute, but everything has to go on pause again while it's all discussed."
