US party princess Paris Hilton has decided to go back to her ghetto roots by hooking up with renowned hip hop producers Three 6 Mafia on her forthcoming album.
The blonde 'singer' is currently working on her debut disc and has enlisted the help of the Oscar-winning Tennessee-based rappers to work on a number of tracks.
And while some acts would baulk at the very thought of working with the hotel heiress, for fear of what it might do for their credibility as musical artists, Three 6's Jordan 'Juicy J' Houston told the Memphis-based magazine Commercial Appeal that he couldn't wait to work with the Simple Life star.
"She said she liked our song 'Stay Fly'. We let her listen to a dance track and she really liked it and plans to record it," Jordan said.
"From there, we'll see, but it will be a blast working with Paris Hilton. I mean, she is Paris Hilton."
Paris has been trying to make an album for several years now, but her only work to date was a single, Screwed, the steamy video of which was 'leaked' on the internet although the actual record was never released.
However, Hilton insists that her new album will be released this summer - and it already has a strong hip-hop influence, featuring the likes of Dr Dre, Fat Joe and Jadakiss.
The 25-year-old's lavish lifestyle certainly seems to fit the hip-hop mould of pool parties, private jets and fast cars.
Fulfilling the other hip-hop stereotype of a tough ghetto childhood may be slightly more difficult for her, however. After all, Hilton is hardly Compton, is it?
