Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards may have broken Scotland's anti-smoking laws during a performance at Hampden Park.
Glasgow city council has said it is investigating reports that the 62-year-old smoked throughout Friday's gig, as the veteran British rockers continued their A Bigger Bang world tour.
Richards could face a £50 penalty if he is found to have smoked, while the venue itself could be subject to a £250 fine.
It has been illegal to smoke in public places in Scotland since March 26th 2006, while Hampden Park established an in-house ban earlier in the year.
Earlier this summer, British actor Mel Smith was warned not to smoke Winton Churchill's trademark cigars during a performance of the Allegiance play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The Rolling Stones are playing at Sheffield's Don Valley tonight before concluding the UK leg of their world tour at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, in two days time.
