Britney Spears will not seek an extension to the restraining order against her former manager and confidante Osama 'Sam' Lutfi.
Lutfi was ordered to stay away from the troubled singer by US district court judge Philip Gutierrez in February - after court officials initially struggled to serve a restraining order to him.
In April, he was forbidden from contacting or coming within 250 yards of the 26-year-old for a further three months.
While Britney has decided she does not wish to extend the order against Lutfi - who Spears' mother Lynne accused of drugging her daughter - she has stressed that she does not want Lutfi back in her life.
"Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama 'Sam' Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future," her lawyer Samuel Ingham said.
When a Los Angeles family court granted temporary conservatorship of Britney's estate to her father James and a co-conservator, attorney Andrew Wallet, a temporary restraining order against Lufti was issued at the same time.
And with James Spears likely to remain in control of his daughter's affairs following a review on Thursday, the need for a restraining order is lessened.
"If Mr Lutfi makes any future attempt to contact Britney after the temporary conservatorship has concluded, Britney has made clear she will take all appropriate legal action," wrote Mr Ingham.
