Pop singer George Michael has entered a plea of not guilty after he was charged with being unfit to drive.
The 43-year-old was not present at Brent magistrates court, north London, today, but his lawyer told the court he was denying the charge.
Police were alerted in the early hours of October 1st last year when the singer was found passed out in his Mercedes in Cricklewood, also north London.
After being taken to hospital he was cautioned for possessing a drug, believed to be cannabis.
Then before the close of 2006 he was formally charged with being unfit to drive.
Last February the former Wham! singer was given a separate caution for possessing cannabis after also being discovered unconscious at the wheel of his car at Hyde Park Corner, central London.
