Pop quartet McFly have scored their fifth UK number one single with double A-side Please, Please and Don't Stop Me Now.
The cover of Queen's 1979 hit was the official anthem for the BBC's Sport Relief charity event, which culminated last weekend, with all proceeds being donated to charity.
McFly's success means the end of a two-week reign at the top for Lily Allen and Smile, who slips to number four, while Rihanna jumped 14 places to number two with Unfaithful.
Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean stay in the top three with Hips Don't Lie and hotly-tipped singer-songwriter James Morrison comes in at five with You Give Me Something.
Rogue Traders, fronted by Aussie actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte (she plays evil Izzy in Neighbours) are at six with Voodoo Child, Nelly Furtado's Maneater drops to seven and one below her is Sandi Thom, who is still loitering around the top ten with I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker.
Paulo Nutini's Last Request and Smiley Faces by Gnarls Barkley complete the UK's top-selling singles.
In the album chart Razorlight's eponymous release sneaked into number one, while there was better news for Lily Allen, who debuted at number two with Alright Still, with Nutini also making a splash in third place with These Streets.
Muse's magnus opus Black Hopes and Revelations fell from last week's top spot to number five, and Inside In/Inside Out by the Kooks is at four.
