Madonna's brother has expressed his belief that she will try to save her marriage to Guy Ritchie.
Christopher Ciccone said she is "not the kind of person to walk away" while being interviewed on US TV show Good Morning America.
Reports have claimed the Madonna/Ritchie marriage is on the rocks and that divorce is likely.
Madonna's spokesperson has denied the divorce rumours and now her brother has spoken of his belief of their commitment to each other.
"I believe that she will do what's best for her family and her kids, and I think that she'll do her best to maintain the marriage and keep it going," Ciccone said.
He also said he thinks it is "highly unlikely" that Madonna is behind the break-up of baseball player Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia.
"I doubt this is actually an affair
I'm sure she had nothing to do with the break-up of their marriage. It seemed absurd to me, truly, I don't believe it."
