Madonna ventured out on to the red carpet in Leicester Square last night accompanied by her husband and family.
The veteran popstar was attending the premiere for Arthur and the Invisibles, the Luc Besson-directed fantasy film, in which Madonna plays an animated character.
Unusually the singer decided to bring her whole brood, barring the latest addition to the family, newly-adopted David Banda.
Stepping out with husband Guy Ritchie amid newspaper reports of tension in their relationship, Madonna spent 20 minutes greeting fans and signing autographs.
With Lourdes and Rocco alongside her, the Material Girl revealed young David was home "sleeping".
Referring to the character she voices in the film, Madonna said she identified with her battling qualities.
"I like how tough she is and that she knows how to use a sword," she commented.
Madge also seemed pleased about the demands of the animated film: "It was great fun. I got to voice the character while sitting there in my tracksuit."
