Australian singer Kylie Minogue helped 12,000 fans celebrate the arrival of 2007 last night with the first UK leg of her Showgirl Homecoming tour.
Performing in Britain for the first time since being diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago the 38-year-old made good her promise to deliver the "biggest party of all".
The two-hour set at Wembley Arena, north-west London, included hits such as I Should be So Lucky and The Devil You Know.
And once the £65 per ticket gig finished as the clocks struck midnight, more than 3,000 revellers got to grips with a specially-constructed dancefloor to welcome the new year in style.
Kylie has six more dates planned at the London venue before performing the same number in Manchester later this year.
Last year fans in Australia became the first to see the singer perform since her successful treatment for breast cancer.
