The Kaiser Chiefs aren't taking any nonsense from the far-right British National Party (BNP).
As soon as the Leeds band discovered that the BNP had used one of their best-known songs, I Predict A Riot, in a promotional video they called in the lawyers and got to work.
Almost immediately the Brit-award winning band forced the song to be taken off the video, according to media reports.
But the BNP has denied ever using the song in the video, which is currently available online on the YouTube website without the Kaiser Chiefs' music.
"This isn't the type of music our party would ever want to be associated with, like rap music we think it's wrong to play this stuff, what's wrong with Beethoven?" the BNP told the BBC.
Band member Ricky Wilson told the BBC today that he was "disgusted" by the use of his band's music.
He made it clear that he had not been approached for permission to use the track and would not have given it had he been asked, seeking to distance himself from the BNP's extreme political views.
