He may be just 16, but singer Justin Bieber has developed a crush on US first lady Michelle Obama.
Speaking to the Sun, a source close to the star said he is a genuine fan of the 46-year-old.
"He met Michelle when he sang for the Obamas at a concert in Washington DC last Christmas and was impressed.
"He likes what she represents. She's a strong, independent woman and dedicated mum.
"She's also principled and does a lot of work for charity."
The teenager reportedly likes Michelle's natural look and says she is someone that he greatly admires.
Bieber is also said to be friends with Malia Obama - the president's eldest daughter.
"Justin and Malia have struck up a friendship because she's a huge music fan. His manager and bodyguard have been joking about how much they get on," the source added.
The young singer was celebrating this week after scooping a gong at the MTV Music Video Awards.
