Rap great Jay-Z has earmarked boyband JLS as the British act most likely to achieve chart success in the US.
The Roc-A-Fella mogul was in the audience as the X Factor runners-up performed and collected two prizes at this week's Brit awards.
And after reportedly inviting the Beat Again stars to his Brits after-party, Jay-Z tipped the four-piece to emulate the huge success of Justin Timberlake's former band 'N Sync.
"I liked JLS, I watched them do their show," Jay-Z was quoted by the Sun as saying. "They're a good band and remind me of 'N Sync, a band who do the boy band thing well."
He added: "They put on a class performance and I think they will go on to be as big as 'N Sync."
The Run This Town's star praise for JLS is high, given 'N Sync's huge US and global success in the early noughties, including 56 million album sales worldwide.
