Geri Halliwell has gone down the celebrity route by choosing a quirky moniker for her firstborn baby.
The former Spice Girl has named her daughter Bluebell Madonna, after noticing bluebells "everywhere" during the late stages of her pregnancy.
She started toying with the idea of naming her baby after the blooms and when her mum Anna Maria said bluebells are "increasingly rare", Geri made her mind up, she told Hello! magazine.
"So it's a precious flower, which seems just right for my daughter," according to the 33-year-old.
Bluebell, who was born ten days ago in London's Portland hospital, also has a fairly unique middle name.
"No one else has that name, apart from the Virgin Madonna and the singer, whom I love," the new mum explained.
Geri adds that she is "besotted" with her baby and that the tot is already the "most important thing" to her.
Mum and daughter are featured in a photo spread in this week's Hello! magazine.
The popstar fell pregnant with Bluebell after a short-lived relationship with Hollywood screen writer Sacha Gervasi.
