Los Angeles foursome Rage Against The Machine proved real crowd-pleasers on Friday night at the Reading festival.
Killing In The Name Of proved a particular favourite thanks to its familiar swearing-based refrain.
Despite making clear in the strongest possible terms they are not going to do what they are told, the crowd loved them a fact reflected by the mosh pit stretching as far back as the mixing desk.
The morning after has seen most head off into Reading town centre for some breakfast, in what has so far been a fairly placid festival atmosphere despite some congestion problems.
Today's weather is pretty good, with a mixture of sun and clouds suggesting rain looks unlikely. That's just as well for those looking forward to seeing headliners Bloc Party and The Killers later on.
