US rapper Eminem has returned to the top of the Official Album Chart with his new album Recovery, it has been confirmed.

The 8 Mile star had been unseated from the summit by Kylie Minogue but has returned to the number one spot, the Official Charts Company announced on Sunday.

Eliza Doolittle's self-titled debut album was the highest new entry in the album chart at number three, while Plan B and Lady GaGa held fourth and fifth respectively.

In the Official Singles Chart, B.o.B claimed his second UK number one single with Airplanes, featuring Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams, as last week's number one act JLS fell to seventh.

We No Speak Americano by Yolanda Be Cool vs D Cup climbed to second position while Professor Green's Just Be Good to Green, featuring Lily Allen, debuted in fifth place.
