Britney Spears has been permitted a second visit in three days with her two sons after not seeing them for almost two months.

On Saturday the Toxic star saw two-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, one, for the first time since January 3rd, after agreeing a visitation structure with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

And the two boys saw their mother for a further three hours on Monday, with those present for both visits including Britney's father James, a court-appointed monitor, an attorney handling James Spears' conservatorship of his daughter's affairs and one of Federline's bodyguards.

The 26-year-old lost custody to the children in October last year, and saw her visitation rights suspended in early January when she refused to hand over the boys to one of her ex-husband's bodyguards following a visit, with Britney subsequently hospitalised and placed under a psychiatric hold.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's spokesman, said the revision of the visitation structure was due to discussions between the Federline legal team and the Luce Forward legal firm handling James Spears' temporary control of Britney's estate.

"None of this would have happened if Jamie Spears had not been involved. That's for sure," Kaplan told E! News on Friday.

"He gets a lot of credit for helping make this happen. But we've worked very hard with the conservator lawyers, as well, to make this all work."

Meanwhile, Luce Forward attorneys filed a motion on Monday seeking to halt a civil rights challenge to James Spears' conservatorship.

Jon Eardley, an attorney claiming to represent Britney, says the conservatorship order violates the singer's constitutional rights, but according to the conservatorship team, he has neglected to meet the court's filing deadline as well as failed to prove he qualifies as Britney's lawyer.
