Britney Spears has unveiled her latest appearance change since her high-profile split from estranged husband Kevin Federline.
The 25-year-old singer has been seen out and about on the town with a dramatic dark shade of hair, similar to the brunette look she sported for her Harpers' Bazaar photo shoot earlier this year.
Since splitting with K-Fed it seems that Brit has split her time between changing her hair and partying with Paris Hilton; her latest do is the third in just over a month, following on from a short bob and then long, blonde hair extensions.
Perhaps she's trying to follow in the footsteps of Cameron Diaz, who has been wowing people with her new dark look.
Or maybe it's just part of Britney's promise to present "a new me" to the world in the new year.
Following numerous photos of a knickerless Britney looking worse for wear out on the town with Paris Hilton, last week she posted a message on her site that she may have taken her new single status "a little too far" and hinted she would be wearing underwear in future.
So a promise of knickers and brunette hair: whatever could Britney be planning next?
