Disney Pixar film Up has held the top spot in the UK and Ireland box office chart for a second week, it has been confirmed.
The animated film stayed at the summit after taking £5.2 million in its second week on release while critically-mauled romantic comedy Couples Retreat debuted in second with £1.3 million.
The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, the final film of the late Heath Ledger, entered the chart in third after its first weekend on release, having earned £905,786 in its first three days on release in the UK and Ireland.
The other new releases in the top ten were horror film Triangle, starring former Home and Away actress Melissa George, which debuted in seventh, and Bollywood movie Blue - featuring Kylie Minogue - in tenth.
