While Sacha Baron Cohen's character Borat often seems so outrageous he could not ever exist in real life, a Turkish man disagrees and claims he is the inspiration behind the character.
Mahir Cagri, who is the creator of popular Turkish site ikissyou.org, bares an uncanny resemblance to controversial Borat in both his speech and appearance.
However, Cagri is concerned that people are going to mistake him for Borat and believe that they have similar interests.
Borat, who disco-dances, mocks Jewish people and indulges in naked mud wrestling, has become a runaway box office success.
"If you (see) this, what you think about me?" Cagri said.
"Mahir is a very bad comedian, Mahir is a homosexual, Mahir may be say the bad things about Jewish people? This is very bad."
The Internet entrepreneur, who has become a minor celebrity in his homeland due to his webpage, said that he is considering legal action against Sacha Baron Cohen.
"The world's media writes that Borat imitates and copies Mahir," he said. "He copies me, and he imitates me in a bad way."
Borat recently opened at number one at the box office in both the UK and the US.
